    NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Tien C. Nguyen says:

Et al, I am a long time voter in the San Fernando Valley and I strongly oppose SB798. It gives a false sense of security to all concerned. As an employee of a police department, I know most Police Officers do not see the color of a weapon when pointed at them, only that a silhouette of a firearm is pointed at them. So mandatory painting of the guns is a waste of time and effort. What we need is to promote safe handling education and promote private industry to open airsoft fields to allow people to play such as paintball fields. If the later is encouraged then we will see fewer incidents of police involved airsoft events.

  3. Marvin Madlangbayan says:

    No on SB98

  4. Dillon says:

The coloration of airsoft guns will not solve anything. The color of a gun does not

make it fake or not. I own real firearms With entire blue coloration, as well as Tan,

Pink,Green, and even Orange. The passing of this bill will only cost California Millions

of dollars in tax revenue, loss of thousands of jobs, and a great sport many enjoy as

military simulation. I strongly oppose SB798.

    Thank You

I say no on sb 798

  9. Cj Sacolles says:

1 person ruins it for everyone.. thats just dumb.. its sucks cuz airsoft is a sport based on safety being a number 1 rule.. some places wont even let you into their airsoft field if your gun is not in a gun bag or hidden from the public.. they will simply send you home due to bad manners..

sb798 is a joke.. criminals could simply paint their gun with some cheap spray paint from local retail stores for $1.. and it will be totally legal to walk into a store, legally? thats just stupid in my honest opinion.. I think kids should know there rights and wrongs.. or better yet where are their parents/guardians.. you must be 18 years or older to purchase an airsoft gun.. so it should be the parents responsibility..

During that incident with the boy at the park who failed to cooperate with the police, could of had a cap gun that looks like a revolver… a simple toy gun that could be bought at the cornerstore for $2.. and the police still would have fired.. its a common reaction.. thats what they are there for.. the safety of the community.

painting will not do anything… i believe if anything airsoft guns should be treated as a real gun making them not visible to the public…

  10. Frank xtremeracing17 says:

The color of airsoft guns will not solve anything. The color of a gun does not make it fake or not. You pass this bill and I will paint my real gun orange and point it at a cop. Will he shoot me cuz it’s orange, or will he shoot me cuz it’s a weapon being pointed at him, or is it a toy gun, or will he be sued if he decides wrong or before he decides I shoot him dead. I strongly oppose SB798.

    Thank You
